  • Pre-application support is available by phone on 0345 073 3330 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, excluding bank holidays)1
  • You can email our New Build team with any urgent post-application queries about exchange or completion requirements and escalations
  • When we get your application, we’ll send you a link where you’ll be able to check if there are any documents or information we still need

How we can help

Better business for clients

We’ve created a great range of products and features to help your clients buying new-build properties

  • Valuations instructed on submission
  • Up to 90% LTV for houses
  • Up to 85% LTV for flats and maisonettes
  • Our mortgage offers are valid for six months from the date the application’s submitted. We can usually extend them for another six months without the need for full resubmission
  • Free valuations available for purchase prices up to £2m
  • Specialist underwriters for high-value and complex-income mortgage applications

Flexible products

  • Discounted green mortgages are available for new-build properties with an energy efficiency rating of 81 or higher, or an energy efficiency band of A or B
  • We accept up to 5% builders’ financial incentives
  • We accept joint borrower-sole proprietor arrangements on both residential and buy-to-let applications
  • We lend on a wide range of construction types, including modern methods of construction (MMC)
  • Sale and lease-back for buy to let (subject to these criteria)
  • We support you and your clients with a range of products if they’re taking advantage of shared ownership, Help to Buy (in London, England, Scotland and Wales), Discounted Market Sales and local authority affordable housing schemes (additional LTV criteria may apply)
  • We accept sub-sales and contract re-assignments for residential properties (subject to these criteria)
